We decided to do our engagement photos at the University of Toronto because the architecture and property is not something typical to Toronto. It’s that one piece of the city that feels as if it belongs in Europe. Well, that and the Distillery District.
Our engagement photos were taken last fall (yes I procrastinated big time getting these up). I thought autumn would be the best season because I love the colours associated with it and the trees can look so beautiful! Especially at the University of Toronto where there are a number of vines climbing up walls, it couldn’t have been more perfect.
Anyhow, it feels like forever ago now that we got engaged. After a long journey, doing long distance for 10 months, Ben getting his permit to move here, actually moving here, moving in together and going through the struggle of sponsorship we are finally here. We are now less than a month from getting married and I’m freaking out a little – in a good way of course.
I want to share our engagement photos at the University of Toronto because the photos are so beautiful and I’m just too excited to contain it anymore! It feels like we’ve been engaged forever but at the same time, I can’t believe we are so close to the actual wedding.
We chose to have our engagement photos at the University of Toronto because we wanted a place that would stand out in photos. We also wanted something that represented Toronto very well and the University does just that. Our photos were taken by The Love Studio and we couldn’t have been more pleased with them. I can’t wait to hear what you all think.
Let us know in the notes your advice if you’ve gotten married before on what we should know, expect or remember for the big day. We could use all the help we can get at this point!
Let us know what you think in the comments! Thanks to The Love Studio for the beautiful pictures and helping Ben to relax after a couple of hours. He definitely wasn’t meant to be a model.
