It’s really not difficult to take beautiful photos of Miami. As one of Florida’s most popular cities, the city is bright, colourful and luxurious. Some of the most beautiful architectural buildings of the state are in this city.
We only spent one day in Miami but it was enough for us to explore all of the major sights. We spent a lot of our time walking around and getting lost in the city. I find this is always such a good way to find hidden gems and to just get your bearings.
One of my favourite things we did this trip was sitting on a patio and watching the people walk by. South Beach in Miami has some of the most interesting people milling about. We honestly spent hours just sitting there watching some of the crazy outfits (or people) walking by our table. We definitely had some good laughs!
We walked to the South Pointe Pier which was almost as South as you can go in South Beach. On the way there we walked along the boardwalk and on the way back we walked along the beach. The pier itself was a bit disappointing but it was worth visiting for the view of the Miami skyline.
If you are looking for a good place to have dinner, try Espanola Way. It’s in the city and a little hidden but totally beautiful. The 100m strip is pedestrian friendly and a great place to grab some delicious Spanish food. I wish we had have gone at night because I can imagine how beautiful it would be with the strung lights all lit up!
The beach in Miami is beautiful. I would suggest staying in South Beach. While you’ll be paying a little bit more for hotels, it’s worth being close to everything like Ocean Drive and the beach itself.
